Buildings + Show Me The Body + YASS + AACKR (NoiseRock / Punk)

Minneapolis noise rock trio, BUILDINGS emerged with the bands explosive new full-length titled, “Negative Sound”, on November 22nd via Gilead Media. The bands fourth album delivers 10 new tracks that prove to be the bands most compelling and abrasive. Brimming with anxiety-surged ugliness and a fed up world view, BUILDINGS find beauty in the unlit corners of their own personal experiences and inner frustrations. “When we write our songs with an ugly chord or an ear piercing part of a song, we want to make sure that kind of gives you anxiety just listening to it” comments BUILDINGS vocalist/guitarist, Brian Lake. “We strive to give the listener a noisy but beautiful experience.”

Experimenting with angular and frenzied riffs, full-frontal grooves, and vocal patterns that hit you like a wrecking ball, “Negative Sound” shows the bands influences on their sleeves while never letting you forget that they bring their own high energy and unique identity to the foreground of their genre.

Show Me The Body started as a band in 2009 consisting of Julian Cashwan Pratt (banjo and vocals), Harlan Steed (bass), and Gabriel Millman (drums). Noah Cohen-Corbett (current drummer) joined the band in 2014. Their unique sound is heavily influenced, both sonically and in attitude, by the city that reared them: New York.

The band has been at the forefront of the city’s underground since the release of their 2014 EP Yellow Kidney. Over the ensuing years Show Me The Body established themselves as one of the most exciting bands in the city, through their torrid live show and distinctive sonics. Dog Whistle, Show Me The Body’s most immediate and critically acclaimed body of work to date, is heavy yet honest. The album was produced by Chris Coady, Show Me The Body, and Gabriel Millman (original drummer and current in-house producer). Dog Whistle was written in Long Island City, Queens and recorded in Los Angeles, California in the summer of 2018. ” Dog Whistle is a call-to-arms directed at the community, its sonic urgency reflecting the mounting challenges of surviving in the city,” writes The FADER. The album was released on March 29th, 2019 and follows Show Me The Body’s debut album Body War.

Unique and intense Noise-Rock from this two-piece out of the dark woods of the Black Forest. Markus (TEN VOLT SHOCK) and Frank (KURT, TEN VOLT SHOCK) are combining their driving-blistering guitar sound and their heavy pounding beats with dark and pulsating synthesizer-loops to an energetic and powerful piece of modern Noise-Rock.

AACKR make Noiserock, instrumental, sometimes reduced, sometimes brutal, no more, no less.
In doing so they rigorously explore their possibilities, playing with common structures and expectations.
